CES is seeking an Industrial Process Engineering manager for a local client

Direct Hire up to 100K DOE

Duties and Responsibilities
General accountability of this position requires the Process Manager to:
 HS&;E Element Champion for Elements listed in the BLN-HSE-P-001HSE Leadership Procedure*
 Responsible for the managing the Process functions. *
 Primary focus is in the manufacture & continuous improvement of RFT parts through process innovation, including control of chemical usage variances and evaluation of new materials and methods. *
 Responsible to manage process budget. *
 Responsible to maintain scrap statistics and procedures to improve scrap rates. *
 Working closely with Production, Quality and other departments. Lead AQP efforts to minimize manufacturing problems.
 Educate team and drive lean concepts and WPS using the toolbox.
 Drive out waste through VSM, 5Q or LTR activities.
 A member of the management team with responsibility for planning, health/safety, budgeting and implementing TQM and best methods.
 Liaison with Product Development on new programs to identify process equipment, capital requirements.
 Drive daily kaizen activity.
 Plan, budget, schedule and coordinate capital projects.
 Training staff in technical matters.
 Other duties and projects as assigned.

I. Requirements
 Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical or chemical coupled with 3-5 years process experience.
 Supervisory/Management experience with strong leadership skills
 Thorough understanding of equipment (automatic controls, metering systems, mixing systems, crushers, ovens, etc).
 Strong knowledge of urethane chemistry and its processing.
 Experience in project co-ordination and supervisory positions.
 Ability to troubleshoot all process and production equipment failures logically and expediently.
 Excellent computer skills
 Strong knowledge of Corporate HS&E policies and practices and legislative requirements.
 Experience in starting new programs including AQP, VAVE and Quality requirements.
