Salary:$28-$40/hr


This client specializies in Battery Tray Assembly and Battery Assembly and Test Systems, Leak Test Equipment, Industrial Parts Washers, and Material Handling Automation.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform robotic programming (for robots such as Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, and Motoman), including the following:
    • Simulation programs
    • Offline Programming
    • Robotic Dress
  • Communications set up example: Profinet, Industrial ENet, and DNet
  • Robotic Vision Guided Systems
  • Develop and implement standard engineering practices and provide detailed documentation
  • Develop logic for simulation programs
  • Set up communication to PLC and auxiliary devices
  • Installation of tooling at the customer plant
  • Introduce programming improvements in robotic systems
  • Implement application requirements related to robotic washing, welding, joining, sealing, inspection, and material handling functions
  • De-bug, try and verify I/O signals and interference zones in the system
  • Provide complete documentation of the robotic procedure, including a printout of robot path programs and all associated data fields
  • Train, robot end users through the provision of instruction, advice and feedback to minimize downtime and enable users to quickly achieve full productive capacity

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of practical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • A completed college or university program in Electrical Engineering/Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Robotic Studies, or another similar field of study
