CES is seeking a qualified Truck Trailer Mechanic (310T) 

Location: Alliston, ON

Start Date: Immediate

Shifts: Fulltime

Wage: up to $30/hr + 4% vacation pay

ln this position you will be responsible for the following:

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair
  • Review work Orders and discussing work to be performed with the supervisor
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair; electrical systems; landing gear assemblies and trailer frames; hitching/coupling systems; bodies; suspensions systems; air and auxiliary systems; braking systems; heating and refrigeration systems
  • Ventilation devices and hydraulic systems
  • Use hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults
  • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturers performance specifications
  • Performing scheduled maintenance service
  • Advising employees on work performed, general trailer condition and future work required
  •  Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
  • Reading and interpreting owner/operator/manufacturer operating manuals and service specifications
  • Keeping up-to-date on technology and upgrading skills as required


  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 40lbs regularly
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace throughout your entire shift
  • Must have PPE (CSA approved safety boots)
  • Follow all safe job procedures, safe work practices, and company rules
  • GED/High School Diploma required to be hired on permanently by client
  • Reliable transportation (not on a bus route)
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • If hired, a Criminal Background Check will be required
  • Must be able to pass daily COVID screening to enter the facility
