Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in common areas, hallways, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces throughout the day.
- Empty trash cans, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Restock supplies including paper towels, soap, sanitizer, and toilet tissue.
- Dust fixtures, ledges, windowsills, and baseboards.
- Monitor supply levels and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures (OSHA/MSDS).
Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or custodial work preferred (entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 35–50 lbs regularly throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Strong punctuality, dependable transportation, and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
