Canadian Executive Search is looking for General Labor  to work with our client in Cambridge, ON. They are an automotive supplier specializing in the manufacturing and supply of complex high value-added automotive metal components.

Competitive hourly pay – $16.60 – $17/hr

Hours:

Mornings/Afternoons/Nights

Consistent weekly pay; 40+ hours a week

Working on the line you will machine parts and perform quality checks in a timely manner. These positions require shift work and the ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
  • Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely
  • Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
  • Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
  • Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
  • Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas
  • Ensure that only quality parts are passed onto the next operation, notify supervisor of quality related problems immediately
  • Maintain a safe work environment through adherence to all safety policies, rules and procedures established by the company, and initiate corrective action to any unsafe conditions
  • Maintain an attitude of cooperation and teamwork

Requirements: 

  • Previous Manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Must be willing to learn and lift upto 40lbs
  • Work independently and as part of a team
