Canadian Executive Search Group is looking for a General labour/Fabricator to work with our client in Milton, ON.  They are recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors

Competitive hourly pay $20.92


Mornings: 6:30am – 2:30pm 

Afternoons: 2:30pm – 10:45pm *$0.40 Shift Premium*

Nights: 10:30pm – 6:30am *$0.60 Shift Premium*

Consistent weekly pay; 40+ hours a week


•    Perform welding, grinding, machining and assembly tasks to complete assigned projects within their requirements
•    Build tables, fixtures, platforms, stands, auxiliary equipment and other items in accordance with the requirements of the plant as assigned
•    Assist in designing and planning such projects to meet ergonomic, environmental and safety regulation requirements
•    Order material, fasteners and all necessary supplies to perform the assigned work in advance
•    Order parts and supplies necessary to maintain adequate inventory
•    Assist other maintenance staff in carrying out maintenance work as instructed by the Manager
•    Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
•    Maintain records of repair, projects and other actions carried out on the equipment and plant
•    Maintain a daily log of time spent on each job
•    Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
•    Comply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIP
•    Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with company rules
•     Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior
•    Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standards
•    Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the  Employee Handbook
•    Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
•    Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards
•    Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
•    Perform other duties as required


•    Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma

•    Experience in related field is needed
•    Experience in automotive industry an asset
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
•    Able to operate with minimum supervision
•    Able to meet project  timelines
•    Ergonomic and designing skills
•    Good interpersonal skills
•    Well-developed organizational and time management skills
