AWS/CES is looking for a Bilingual Team Leader – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
We are currently seeking motivated Bilingual Team Leaders for our client in Lafayette, IN. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment who is comfortable supervising teams and ensuring quality and efficiency on the floor.
Available Shifts
1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on supervision and leadership to assigned team members
- Represent the client professionally while maintaining a strong work culture
- Ensure proper setup and completion of work cells while following 5S practices
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team
- Maintain a working knowledge of ISO procedures and standards
- Ensure proper ergonomics and workflow setup for team members
- Prepare and maintain work instructions
- Review and approve daily employee timesheets
- Assist with employee orientation and training
- Provide input for employee performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
- Travel to other plant locations when required
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) required
- Minimum 1 year of Team Leader or supervisory experience
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
- Ability to travel to different plant locations as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 50–75 lbs with assistance
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, and reaching
