Salary: up to $105k/yr (DOE).
Shift: Hybrid ( 2 days from home 3 in the office).
Location: Hialeah, FL 33018.
Job Purpose:
Under general direction, develops requirements, design, documentation, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Business Intelligence analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect requirements from multiple constituencies for reports and dashboards to assist in effectively running the business.
- Understand database structures to determine data relationships and write views to build reports.
- Write views and other functions as required in databases to execute reports.
- Build dashboards and reports primarily in Power BI and Excel.
- Work with/manage outside contractors to expand capacity.
- Collaborate with data engineering resources to provide business guidance for onboarding new data sources into the company’s enterprise data platform and testing to ensure the accuracy of this data.
- Where appropriate, use Power Automate to create flows to collect data.
- Troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in business analytics development and/or database programming.
- Proficiency in SQL programming for data analysis is required (MS SQL, Oracle SQL).
- Experience with Power BI is required.
- Experience in integrating and cleansing data from source systems is preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to learn advanced analytics technologies (i.e. Python).
- Must have demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems with minimal direction.
- The ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines for self and others as required.
