CES is seeking a CAD Drawing coordinator for a Large Windsor client

Contract role, $20-22/hour

To coordinate, develop and deliver the Customer required 3-D and 2-D deliverables as per the specifications outlined by the program requirements by each Customer. To help coordinate the program design with the engineering team and the customer to meet their specific timing and deliverable schedule. To field customer calls related to customer deliverable inquiries, questions or general help.

Job Responsibilities
 Review and study customer specifications or other data in order to determine the deliverable procedures
needed to generate and release digital and/or hardcopy printouts related to the Customer requirements;
 Coordinate the part drawings, including CAD drawings, through other designers, internal or outsourced, to comprehensively manage the complete design deliverables of the tools that are required;
 Coordinate the part drawings, including CAD drawings, through suppliers, to comprehensively manage the complete design deliverables of the purchased tools that are required;
 Work closely with senior designer and/or designer on design changes to improve efficiency in the
deliverable process;
 Work closely with customers on the delivery of customer deliverable packages at all stages throughout the deliverable process;
 Be knowledgeable of the release systems and procedures to ensure all drawings, bill of materials and any
other deliverables are accounted for in the process of coordinating the complete customer required
packages; and Possess general awareness of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts and its application in manufacturing and assembly sectors in automotive, aerospace, construction and forestry industries.
Position Requirements
 A Bachelor of Applied Science or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized University is preferred or an Associate Degree/Engineering Diploma, preferably with a specialization in design and drafting, from a recognized Community College; Specialized training with certifications where applicable from recognized training organizations, in the use of CAD systems and software, such Catia, Unigrahics, FIDES, AutoCad, Inventor, Solidworks;
 1 – 3 years of direct experience and demonstrated capabilities in 3-D designing and 2-D detailing by
consistently using one or more of the above mentioned CAD systems for the design of manufacturing and
assembly tooling;  Specific experience focused in any one or more of the following areas is highly recommended: body-in-white
welding and assembly, closure hanging, powertrain manufacturing and assembly (including machining and assembly automation, material handling systems, component washers, leak-testers, functional testing machines), final assembly, or material handling in manufacturing plants;

 Ability to effectively multi task and prioritize in a high pressure environment – deal with multiple programs, customers and designers to achieve progress on multiple programs simultaneously;
 Ability to work independently and follow timelines and budgets; and Ability and willingness to travel to any of the customer and Company’s work locations in North America as required by Management.
