Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions, is now hiring experienced Millwork Fabricators for our client in Aurora, IL

These  are long term to hire on position

1st shift Monday to Friday

Pay range $19.00 – $25.00

Journeyman Millwork Fabricators pay range is $25.00  and up to based on skill level

Responsibilities vary with position, some may include:

Read and interpret drawings and project documents to ensure that custom millwork components are
manufactured to specification.
Follow written instructions in production packets, work orders, drawings, and other production documents.
Operate shop equipment, including cutting tools, nail and staple guns, and shop hand tools to fabricate millwork components to specification.
Laminate millwork components as necessary, using the process of high pressure laminate (HPL).
Prior to assembly, ensure that edges are banded or band edges and use sharp hand tools to clean all edges.
As directed, assemble manufactured components into completed catalog or custom units by efficiently operating equipment such as nail guns, glue guns and hand tools.
Assist with the complete assembly of manufactured components by attaching hardware such as hinges and pulls.
Attach doors and other components as specified in production drawings.  Assist with packaging orders for shipment by building shipping crates as necessary. Operate shop equipment, including CNC Lathes, table saws, cutting tools, nail and staple guns, and shop hand tools to fabricate millwork components to specification. Provide assistance to shop employees as necessary.
Oversee the process of laminating, including the routing of components for laminating. Set up inline millwork fixtures to ensure form, fit, and function. Label and take down fixtures to prepare for

Experience and proficiency with using hand tools, especially blade tools such as files and chisels.
Ability to operate CNC lathes, table saws or other cutting tools. Aptitude to program equipment as necessary.
Ability to read measuring equipment such as tape measures and digital calipers. Math skills sufficient to work with adding and subtracting of fractions
