Job Duties:

  • Have a complete understanding of Vantage and CVP
  • Have a complete understanding of setting up work cells and practice 5S

Role Overview

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within the Metals Recycling industry, with a primary focus on wear castings, including shredder hammers and related accessories.

This role manages and develops relationships across 250–300 metal recycling shredder locations throughout the United States and Canada, serving as the primary commercial and technical point of contact. The position delivers value through application expertise, cost optimization, and long-term supply strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Territory Management

  • Manage and grow wear casting sales across the U.S. and Canada

  • Partner with customers to reduce operating costs by optimizing shredder hammer performance

  • Identify underserved accounts and execute strategies to increase market penetration and revenue

  • Collaborate with global teams to share market insights and align best practices

Customer Relationships & Sales Execution

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with end users, distributors, and OEMs

  • Conduct frequent customer visits to understand operational challenges and present tailored solutions

  • Lead commercial negotiations and close sales to meet or exceed volume, margin, and market share targets

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and opportunity tracking

  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and manufacturing

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in sales or account management within Metals Recycling, Aggregates, wear parts, or heavy equipment industries

  • Strong understanding of shredding, crushing, and aggregate production processes

  • Shredder hammer application knowledge strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated success building relationships, negotiating, and closing complex sales

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing a large geographic territory

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
