Canadian Executive Search is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for our client in Windsor!

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the daily maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reduced downtime, and support for ongoing continuous improvement efforts. This position requires strong technical knowledge, effective leadership skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues in collaboration with maintenance technicians and production teams
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to maintenance staff
• Collaborate closely with production leadership and management to support operational objectives

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience within a unionized environment; experience in food manufacturing or a related industry is preferred
• Millwright, Electrician, or related trade certification considered an asset
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and/or automation systems
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Demonstrated success in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards
