CES/AWS is looking for a CNC Machinist
📍 Location: Erie, PA
🕒 Job Type: Temp-to-Perm/ Day Shift 5AM or 6AM
💰 Pay Rate: up to $33/hour DOE
Position Summary: The CNC Machinist (Wire EDM) is responsible for the daily operations, to include the set-ups, programming, maximizing of the machine utilization, as well as the unattended Time. In this role, the CNC Machinist reports to the Job Leader as well as the General.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow router plans and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on any changes.
Program, set up, and operate Wire machines using MasterCAM software.
Maximize machine utilization and unattended run time.
Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments/probes.
Complete inspection paperwork and report errors or deviations.
Maintain production schedules and monitor tool inventory.
Assist in planning routers as needed.
Perform general maintenance and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Certification, College Degree, or High School Diploma with equivalent experience in Mold Manufacturing.
8+ years of experience in high-cavitation, multi-action mold building and assembly.
Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
