Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist for a Prominent manufacturing company in the Nashville, TN surrounding area.
Location: Columbia, TN
Shifts: 1ST, and 2ND AVAILABLE
Start: ASAP
Pay Rate: $20-$29/HR
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
• Monitor machine operations, inspect finished parts for accuracy, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure product quality and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, including proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Strong knowledge of blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to interpret and edit G-code programming.
• Solid understanding of machining principles, materials, and cutting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Adherence to safety protocols and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Relocation willingness to Columbia, TN.
