Canadian Executive Search Group is on the search for CNC Setup Operator at their facility in Vaughan, ON.
Our client is looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join their Team!
Shift timings- Monday-Friday (7:00 am-3:30pm)
Qualifications
Well developed experience with setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and decision-making ability
Technical trade college or equivalent experience
Basic Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
Extensive knowledge of tooling
Knowledge of first-off inspection
Ability to use measuring equipment
Basic programming on both CNC Mill and Lathes
Responsibilities
Program and /or Set-up machine as per Job Card.
Operation of mills and lathes.
Set-up workstation for safe operation, minding safety of co-workers, too.
Perform in-process inspection as per our Quality System.
Communicate with Shop Supervisor
Submit first off part to Quality Control for inspection/testing. If on second shift, submit first off part to peer for
inspection/testing.
Ensure the Inspection Record is complete.
Ensure that workstation is cleaned, time sheets completed, and if necessary, machine is ready for the next job.
Train on new processes and/or machines.
Be mindful of Quality and Customer Service. Remember that the Customer can also be a member of the
Production Team.
Complete preventive machine maintenance as per schedule
Ensure 5-S is being adhered to and that their work area is kept clean and tidy
