AWS/CES is seeking a Construction Electrical Engineer for a battery cell manufacturing client in Memphis, TN

- Schedule: Direct Hire/ Full time
- Compensation: $110,400k-$151,800k salary base DOE + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and implement electrical systems for battery cell production, including power
distribution, control panels, and automation integration.
– Develop electrical schematics, circuit layouts, and system documentation following industry
standards.
– Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers to integrate electrical components into
manufacturing equipment.
– Support troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime
and peak efficiency.
– Evaluate and recommend improvements to electrical infrastructure, optimizing energy
consumption and system reliability.
– Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and
regulations.
– Assist in integrating robotics, PLCs, and SCADA systems into manufacturing operations.
– Develop and implement electrical solutions that enhance automation and improve production
efficiency.
– Monitor and analyze electrical performance data to drive process improvements and reduce
operational costs.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in battery manufacturing,
automotive, or high-volume production environments preferred
– Strong understanding of power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems
– Experience with PLC programming, SCADA integration, and industrial networking
– Familiarity with electrical safety standards and compliance requirements (NEC, IEC, UL)
– Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)
– Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced
environment
– Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
– Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
