Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a Cost Accountant for an Industrial Manufacturing client in the Pulaski, TN area.

- Compensation: $75,000 -$85,000 DOE
This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in cost accounting and SAP experience. As a Cost Accountant, you will engage in a variety of financial activities, including budgeting, auditing, and financial reporting, all while working in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting processes related to manufacturing operations.
- Perform detailed cost accounting tasks, including analyzing job or process costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Utilize SAP for financial data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Prepare and distribute accurate accounting entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Assist in variance analysis and support cost control initiatives.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on cost accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP, particularly in FI and MM modules.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles, including translation differences.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in diverse, multicultural teams.
