Canadian Executive Search Group, a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions, is currently hiring a 2nd Shift Crate Builder for our client in Romeoville, IL.
Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $20.25/hr
Job Duties & Requirements:
- 1–2 years of carpentry experience.
- Proficiency with power tools (power saws, nail guns, electric power jacks, etc.).
- Ability to follow written instructions to build pallets, crates, and stands.
- Ability to operate a forklift and lift truck.
- Must be able to perform basic math (adding, subtracting, measuring).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English at a basic level.
- Safety-oriented mindset and attention to detail are required.
- Required PPE: Steel-toe shoes and high-visibility vest.
Additional Information:
- Must be available to work Saturdays (6:00 AM – Noon or longer) based on business needs.
- Candidates must be able to complete training and certification on the 1st Shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM) during the first week before transitioning to the 2nd Shift.
