Customer Service Representative

AWS/CES is looking for a Customer Service Representative

2nd Shift
$25/hour | Temp-to-Hire

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join an automotive manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. This is a full-time, onsite 2nd shift opportunity with strong potential to convert to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, verify, and maintain customer orders and purchase orders

  • Respond to customer service requests and manage order changes

  • Communicate order updates to internal teams as needed

  • Resolve customer inquiries related to orders and shipments

  • Load and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs)

  • Maintain and update customer routing instructions

  • Use SAP to update production requirements, BOMs, and related files

  • Prepare and distribute daily reports and order acknowledgments

  • Prepare invoices and test certificates for finished goods and samples

  • Assist with APQP activities alongside the Quality Department

  • Provide backup support to team members as needed

  • Perform system maintenance and other assigned duties

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment

  • Able to communicate effectively with Production to meet customer demands

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience with SAP strongly preferred

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and exercise sound judgment
