Electrical Design Manager
Windsor, Ontario
Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 per annum
Work Schedule: Day Shift
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients throughout project development and its lifecycle.
- Electrical design for automation type equipment (that uses safety, ultrasonic welding, robots, PLC schematics, etc)
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to design electrical blueprints for machines, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.
- Take ownership of electrical system prints and ensure their accuracy.
- Demonstrate passion for surpassing expectations, and working diligently to achieve team goals.
- Create electrical material requisitions and specifications.
- Develop, review, and coordinate drawings in compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Prepare supporting documents and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Provide mentorship to Apprentice Electrical Designers.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an immaculate driving record.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Graduate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 7-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering or as a Controls Engineer.
- Exhibit proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD Electrical.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Automated Assembly Machine Design fundamentals.
- Display meticulous attention to detail and a track record of dependability and reliability.
