Our client is seeking to fill for Elevator Operators for the Agriculture industry

Location:  Staples, ON

Start Date:  Hiring mid September 2021 – December 2021

We offer:

* weekly pay

Rate/Hour – $15.00 – $17.00 + 4% vacation pay


Hours will fluctuate from 35+ hours/week (depending on the weather and harvest), with tons of overtime offered


This is an all outside position

Must have own steel toed boots and a coat for when it turns cold.

Client will provide all other PPE, including high-visibility t-shirts or vests, gloves, safety glasses and hard-hats.


Experience working in a grain elevator setting or with heavy machinery would be an asset but not mandatory, we will train according to the position when they start.

Physical requirements would include

  • Being on feet for most of the day
  • Able to lift 50lbs periodically
  • Able to use a broom/shovel for short periods of time, but several times per day


*minimum 6 months experience within an agriculture environment

*must have proper PPE (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, face mask)

*must have excellent attendance record, be self motivated and willing to learn

*lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis for duration of shift

*walk, stand for duration of shift
