Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating a variety of fabrication equipment in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow the work orders specification
  • Inspect cut length for dimensions
  • Perform necessary PM checks on the machine daily.
  • Report equipment malfunction to supervisor
  • Responsible to operate the saws & CNC machine in an efficient manner while maintaining the quality and safety standard
  • Requirements
  • Ability to work 12 hours continental shift schedule. Personable with clear communication skills.
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good attitude is a must
  • Experience/Skills
    • Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
    • General mechanical aptitude/background
    • Strong computer skills

Press Operator

Job Duties:

Operating press machines

Quality parts inspection, checking dimensions and documenting findings

Ensure parts are properly labelled for shipment

Requirements:

3+ years related experience running a press machine in a machine fabrication environment

Experience with EPICS preferred

Strong Mechanical aptitude

Ability work shift work including continental

Grade 12 completion

Post secondary completion in General Machining a preference but not a must

Own transportation

Strong computer skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
