AWS/CES is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst for an Automotive Manufacturing client in Ontario.
- Location: Ridgetown ON
- Schedule: FULL-TIME/ (Full-Time, Contract) 6 months
- Compensation: up to $85k
Responsibilities:
- Analyze results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
Compare monthly budgets and forecasts with actual results
Monitor and update standard costs, analyze PPV, reconcile inventory (book to perpetual) - Oversee project finances in tooling and capital projects, with PM to ensure projects
remain within budget and report to corporate monthly on status
Audit & review monthly financial information to ensure reasonability
Review and summarize capital requests, including assessing the overall business case
of capital purchases
Analyze opportunities and build models to support business decisions
Plan, coordinate and execute various ad hoc queries and reports used by all
management levels in development of key strategy and operational decision making
Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and
Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the
Employee Handbook
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration or economics
CPA designation would be considered an asset but not required.
Highly competent in the use of the MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)
VBA programming is an asset - Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949
