Location:South Windsor, Connecticut 06074
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Shifts:
6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri.
Join our team and become an integral part of our operations. We are currently seeking a skilled
and safety-conscious individual to fill the role of Forklift Operator.
Responsibilities:
● Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within
the facility.
● Transport products to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery trucks.
● Conduct routine pre and post-operational checks on forklift equipment to ensure
proper functioning.
● Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed.
● Collaborate with warehouse associates, supervisors, and other team members to
ensure smooth workflow.
● Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during forklift operations.
● Perform general warehouse tasks as required, contributing to the overall
efficiency of the facility.
● Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and productive
environment.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center.
● Valid Sit Down/Stand up/ Reach forklift certification is required..
● Ability to operate Reach, Stand up and Sit down forklifts.
● Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
● Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
● Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
