CES is seeking an experienced General Manager for an Environmental facility within Montréal Quebec.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the operations of a division of more than 30 people.
Lead overall sales initiatives as a salesperson and performer, while leading the sales team.
Take responsibility for customer satisfaction, revenue, profit and achievement of division goals.
Lead the Montreal team to ensure success, productivity and operational efficiency.
Develop, coach and mentor other managers and team members.
Oversee the division’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations, the CNESST, the Ministry of Transportation, labor laws and any other regulations that apply to the company.
Ensure that the culture, core beliefs and policies of company are upheld.
Represent the organization at community, client, government and other events.
Negotiate and manage contracts with external suppliers. Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications required:
Very good knowledge of government regulations and their impact on company operations.
Thorough knowledge of the environmental industry is required.
5 years or more of experience in management of environmental health and safety services, preferably in Quebec.
Bachelor’s degree in environment, security or other related field. A master’s degree would be preferable.
Skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint software Bilingualism (French, English).
Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
Must be multi-tasking and have an eye for detail
