Location: Spring Hill, TN
Start date: ASAP!
Shift hours: 2nd shift – Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm (Occasional Weekends Required)
3rd shift – Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am (Occasional Weekends Required)
Payrate: $17.98/hr
Job Overview:
We are hiring dependable, detail-oriented Heavy Lifting Quality Inspectors to work in an automotive manufacturing environment. This position involves inspecting automotive parts and components to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. Employees will lift heavy engine blocks, performing visual inspections, identifying defects, sorting parts, and documenting inspection results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and manual inspections of automotive parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming materials to leadership
- Conduct in-process and final inspections throughout production.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications
- Record inspection results in systems, logs, or quality reports accurately
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements :
- This is an entry level position; Quality experience is a plus
- Heavy Lifting Required – up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
- Pre-employment Drug Screen is mandatory
- A great attitude/attendance are a priority
- Must pass pre-employment background check.
