AWS/CES is looking for an HR Assistant

Location: Wilsonville, OR (On-site)

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40-hour work week, no overtime expected)

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to join our team in Wilsonville, OR. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, particularly Excel.

Please Note: Before applying, ensure you are willing to commute to our Wilsonville office five days a week. Submissions from candidates unwilling to make this commute will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Manager and HRBP in implementing local initiatives and executing regional and corporate programs.
  • Create an environment that attracts, develops, retains, and engages talent to achieve business goals.
  • Execute transactional core HR processes, including new hire orientation, onboarding, transitional return to work, leave administration, and OSHA reporting.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to associates and supervisors regarding policies and procedures.
  • Assist hiring managers and Talent Acquisition in recruitment and staffing plans.
  • Support and maintain the eTime system and payroll-related activities.
  • Help drive an inclusive and diverse culture in partnership with HRBP.
  • Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


  • 1-3 years of experience in a related HR role.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, especially Excel (e.g., filtering, pivot tables).
  • Experience in conducting new hire orientations and comfortable interacting with new employees.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in Human Resources management preferred or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferred but not required.
