CES is now looking for Water Blasters and Ice Blasters to do heavy industrial cleaning at the Toyota plant in Guntown, MS.
Pay rate: $16/hr
Shift: 1st shift 6:00am – 3:00pm Saturday-Thursday
Water Blasting & Ice Blasters
Team Member (TM) will be responsible for participating in lockout/tag-out and operating high pressure (up to 40,000 psi) water blasting and mowing equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, blasting of vehicle dollies, skids, and/or carriers; grate blasting; pressure washing structural steel and tanks. TM will be required to wear extensive PPE, including metatarsal boots, rain suit, shin guards, hard hat, safety glasses, face shield, chemical gloves, anti-vibration gloves, earplugs, and earmuffs (all provided by Customer).
Blasting candidates will go through extensive equipment and use training prior to blasting. TM will participate in lockout/tagout; climb ladders; hang plastic; hook up equipment; conduct pre-and post-operational inspections. TM may be required to perform other cleaning activities as needed to complete the work and meet customer requirements.
This job is physically demanding and will include operating/holding heavy equipment for extended periods of time, extensive standing / walking, working in hot and damp environments, wearing heavy PPE, climbingstairs, pushing equipment, etc.
Reasoning and Adaptability:
To perform this job successfully, an applicant must have the ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions. Must be able to work well with others in a team environment. TM must be able to make sound decisions when confronted with safety or production issues that require immediate action.
Discipline and Diligence:
TM must be able to work with little or no supervision and still complete assigned tasks according to defined work schedules. TM must also wear all personal protection equipment (PPE) as required for the work area and/or specific task.
Must have steel toe boots and very good attendance !
