AWS/CES is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Location: Arlington, TX
- Schedule: 2nd shift/Temp to Hire
- Compensation: $27 per hour
Looking for someone who has Industrial and Facility Maintenance experience.
Responsibilities:
• Direct and coordinate all maintenance activities, focusing on repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Evaluate workplace environmental factors to improve employee safety, health, comfort, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health programs, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with a high level of expertise.
• Utilize and manage CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle) to oversee preventative maintenance and spare parts inventory.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for production equipment.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a high-performance environment.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, installation, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to define technical specifications for equipment and facility alterations.
• Conduct studies on workplace safety factors, liaising with OSHA or EPA as needed.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of programs, policies, and procedures related to safety, environment, and maintenance.
• Develop and deliver training for maintenance levels, including advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Commit to the highest ethical standards, upholding company codes and protecting employee data confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Proven leadership abilities and a track record of working effectively under pressure.
• Strong understanding of troubleshooting theory and methodology.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
