AWS/CES is looking for an Industrial Millwright in Ridgetown ON.
Salary- $40 an hour
Shift- Rotating shift every 2 weeks on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Must have a 433A license
This is a direct-hire position with a complete benefits package. Essential Functions:
- Millwright will maintain a Preventative Maintenance schedule
- Perform full diagnostics on equipment and advise the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Purchasing Manager of parts required to perform necessary Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting and electrical repairs
- Physically maintain machines and equipment
- Millwright must ensure all paperwork and logs are completed prior to shift end
- Millwright must follow Machine Safety Guidelines, ensure proper lock out/tag out procedures are followed at all times
Required Education and Experience:
- COQ Industrial Millwright with 5 yrs. experience
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and complete understanding of Mechanical and Electrical procedures
- Knowledge of machine rigging procedures
- Knowledge of machining and welding
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, specifications and manuals
- Ability to incorporate technical reports
- Good communicator in the English language (written and oral)
- Millwright needs to have experience with repairing large tonnage presses, and performing Preventative Maintenance
