Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions, is now hiring experienced Inventory Control Clerk for our client in the automotive fiberglass industry located in Columbia, TN
Start date: ASAP!
Pay rate: $16/hr
Shifts: 1st shift (7:00am-5:30pm)
Monday – Friday
Location: Columbia, TN
This position requires two separate interviews must have experience with clamp truck and Microsoft products.
Responsibilities:
- Unloading all trucks, adding into inventory, and stocking material
- Ordering all material for production
- Communicate with production on material levels
- Communicate with vendors on order quantities, dates, and status
- Organization of raw materials to best suit the plant needs
- Rotate material so the first one in is the first one out(FIFO)
- Inspect the production floor and warehouse for accurate inventory levels and
adjust accordingly and order if necessary. - Check the incoming PO’s daily and make sure that there is room on the floor for
new materials. - Verify all shortlists and order product if necessary
- Assist with handling materials for each department if necessary
- Ensure all product in labeled correctly and accurately
- Bi-yearly inventory planning and pre-counting
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to drive clamp truck, forklift, and stand-up forklift.
- Proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Must not be allergic to insulation or fiberglass.
- Great attitude/attendance
- Stable work history
- Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours.
