Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Manager to oversee the plant’s material movement, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency to meet company goals. This role demands a strong leader with extensive inventory management experience and a robust SAP background. The ideal candidate will utilize their organizational, administrative, and communication skills to manage processes that align with regulatory and internal company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with inventory and planning teams to optimize material flow.
- Utilize SAP tools to analyze data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Communicate effectively with the site manager and customers to maintain transparency and alignment.
- Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proven track record in inventory management, process improvement, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in SAP data systems and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and WMS.
- Strong critical thinking, data processing, and reporting skills.
- Experience in managing a team of 8 or more employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to treat others with respect and consideration.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of validating system information with both physical and virtual inventory.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret data through bar graphs.
- Competence in generating reports and navigating within the system.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
