Your duties will include:

  • General office organization, administrative support, and client service delivery responsibilities.
  • Building and maintaining rapport with clients to enhance the relationship and support the company vision.
  • Creating and delivering professional client and stakeholder communications products, in person or writing.
  • Investigating and resolving client and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Monitoring and adhering to all applicable financial industry compliance, privacy, and security regulations.
  • Maintaining and improving procedures related to our financial and business processes.
  • Prepare and process client trades, transactions, and other related industry activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

(1) Post-Secondary Education – related to either accounting, business, finance or human development. Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

(2) Canadian Securities Course OR IIROC / MFDA registered OR Insurance Licensed.

NOTE:  At the discretion of the firm, significant  related or commensurate financial industry experience (e.g. 5+ years as an assistant) may be considered in lieu of #1 and #2.

(3) Proficient with Microsoft Office / Office 365 and its associated programs.

(4) Proficient with a Client Management System and other industry related software.

(5) Legally allowed to work in Canada.

(6)For the protection of our clients, as a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to undergo (and/or provide a recent), a criminal and credit record check with acceptable results.

(7) Experience Financial Assistant – 5 years (preferred), Financial Advisor – 2 years (preferred)

Compensation is commensurate with experience and abilities. We offer:

  • Benefits and RRSP Matching after a Time frame noted in Hiring practice.
  • In person Interviews as well as Work at the office no Hybrid type of Work available.
  • $18-$20 hourly to start then if this is a great match after the 3 months then a Salary will take place at that time.
