Pay Rate: STARTING $20.44 HR + shift differential
Job Summary: An Assembly Line Lead supervises and coordinates the activities of assembly line workers, ensures production targets and quality standards are met, troubleshoots issues, and maintains a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising and coordinating assembly line workers in the production of automotive components or vehicles.
• Ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards and conducting inspections to maintain high product quality.
• Monitoring and optimizing the assembly line’s efficiency to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Training and onboarding new employees, particularly on automotive assembly processes and safety protocols.
• Identifying and promptly addressing operational issues or defects in the assembly process.
• Managing inventory levels of automotive parts and components to prevent production delays.
• Enforcing strict safety protocols and ensuring that all workers comply with automotive industry safety regulations.
• Facilitating communication between various departments, such as production, maintenance, and quality control.
• Leading and motivating the assembly line team to maintain a high level of productivity and quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in automotive manufacturing processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant education or certification, such as a high school diploma, associate’s degree, or technical training.
• Proven experience in automotive manufacturing or a related production setting.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
