Job Title: Licensed Millwright (433A) – Plastic Injection Molding

Location: Windsor, Ontario

Shift Options: Straight Days, Straight Afternoons or Straight Midnights

Wage: $40.35/hour plus $0.65 shift premium on afternoons/nights

Position Overview:

As a Licensed Millwright (433A) with our client, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in their plastic injection mold shop. Your expertise will ensure that their production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the high standards of their products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Conduct repairs and adjustments to maintain machine performance and safety.
  • Install, align, and adjust machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production staff to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid 433A Millwright License is required.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing plastic injection molding machines is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts if required.
