Position Summary
Paint Line Operator will be required to perform tasks involving the powder coat production line and will be required to operate a variety of hand tools. Responsibilities will include loading and unloading an overhead conveyor. They will be responsible for efficient operation according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies
Responsibilities
- Load and unload aluminum railings components onto conveyor line
- Inspect, package and label outgoing shipments
- Inserting PVC profile glazing in aluminum railings
- Perform quality checks on products and parts
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment • Other duties as assigned
- Proper and safe handling of parts
- Requirements
Grade 12 completion
Must be able to work full time, no students
2 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs.+
Ability to stand for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching and climbing
Attention to detail
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to work shift work and overtime as required including Saturdays
Forklift experience and Over head Crane
Own Transportation
Wage
$17.00/hr
