Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for Logistics Sales Lead in Burlington, Canada

Responsibilities

Building a book of repeat business and generating quality sales through networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy

Recording all opportunities and communications using our TMW and sales automation platform

Driving sales and achieving strategic objectives; Pro-actively managing a sales pipeline and developing a strategy for long-term sustained success

Creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales methodology

Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals and requests for quotations

Preparing presentations and delivering to prospective clients;

Actively participating in sales meetings and reporting on sales goals, forecasting, and wins;

Utilize inside sales knowledge.

Support carrier reps with the coordination of transportation freight in a cost-effective manner.

Schedule pick-up and delivery appointment times.

Communicate effectively with customers,

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.

Communicate customer problems to management

Develop, execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Build customer base with target margins

Qualifications & Experience:

Working knowledge of with TMW software

Competitive “Hunter” personality;

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Customer & solution-focused approach;

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt easily to different and sometimes stressful situations;

Energetic, Hard Working, Entrepreneurial, Accountable and Pro-Active; Problem-solving skills to be able to propose solutions that meet & exceed the customers’ business needs;

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position Proven track record in sales in transportation/logistics (3PL preferred)

Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and disciplined Highly motivated self-starter Outgoing personality; high energy;

Flexible Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun!

Experience with C-suite is an asset

A background check and drug screen must be completed as part of the hiring process
