Canadian Executive Search is looking for an experienced General Machinist for one of our clients in Windsor & Lakeshore, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating machinery and equipment
- Operating Mill, Lathe, Bridgeport, and Grinders
- Using the correct measuring tools and gauges for the job
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Perform inspections to ensure components match specified drawings
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a machine shop/manufacturing setting is required.
- 2 years of experience in a machinist role.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading.
- Programming experience (definite asset).
- Post-secondary training in related field (definite asset)
Additional Information:
Hours of work: 6:45AM – 2:45PM (days) & 2:45PM – 10:45PM (afternoon) rotating shifts
OR 10:45PM – 6:45AM (steady midnights)
Wage: Dependent on experience
Location: Windsor & Lakeshore, ON.
Temporary to Permanent position
