Canadian Executive Search Group, a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions, is currently looking for a Shop Foreman for our client in Dalton, GA!
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $28 – $32/hr. (DOE) + SIGN ON BONUS!
Job Duties:
- Opens and closes shop,
Creates and manages employee schedules.
Conduct work performance reviews.
Processes customers’ orders to meet schedules and deadlines.
Enters customer and job information into the database
Assist in repair, fabrication, maintenance, or other tasks involved in customer orders
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
Order shop supplies.
Work with Purchasing on material take offs for jobs and inventory levels on hand.
Requirements:
- Must be certified in welding
- Must be able to run CNC lathes, both vertical and horizontal
- Must have prior experience with supervising employees in a machine shop
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
