Machinists- Windsor

Canadian Executive Search Group, a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions has immediate openings for Machinists for our client in the automotive manufacturing industry located in Oldcastle, ON.

You must have at least 5 years of experience with 5-axis machining of mechanisms, programing & operating to be considered for this job.

Location: Oldcastle, ON

Pay rate: 

• $25.00 – $30.00 / HR

Job Type – Full-time

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Proficient in computers with the ability to use various computer applications depending on skill level such as Microsoft Office, Lemoine, Tebis, CAD and Powermill is an asset.
• General background in mold making considered an asset
• Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications.
• Capable of recognizing and solving problems.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner.
• Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with 5-axis machining of mechanisms (lifters, slides, and inserts) – programming, not just operating
• 3D and 2D machining knowledge
• Machining experience in a tool and mold environment
• Tebis experience required

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms and/or legs
• Must be able to lift heavy material (ex. up to 20 lbs.)
• Exposure to noise
• Occasional overtime and travel may be required

Intermediate or advanced level machinist applications are preferred, but apprentices are also welcome to apply.
