Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Whitby, ON
Pay Rate: $30/hour (Based on Experience)

Canadian Executive Search is looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to manage both machine and facility maintenance in a dynamic manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to ensure all maintenance tasks—both preventive and corrective—are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement scheduled preventive maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed on time and properly documented.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and facility-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records and inventory within the tracking system.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies, fostering a secure work environment.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate parts procurement, repairs, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team to uphold safety and quality protocols.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and comply with O.H.S.A. regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus).
- Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least three years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949/ISO 14001 standards and environmental safety regulations.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to read blueprints.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Computer literacy is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed and conduct presentations.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Requires manual dexterity for computer work and machinery troubleshooting.
