Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in the Muskegon Michigan area. This is a direct hire position hiring immediately.
Maintenance Technician
Muskegon, MI
Shift: Full Time , 3rd shift or 2nd shift
Start: ASAP
Pay Rate: $31.30 – Non-negotiable
Must have 6+ years of experience
Position Purpose: Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulically and pneumatically operated machinery
Responsibilities:
- Observe and follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees
- Complete all paperwork and computer input necessary for work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
- Rebuild of pneumatic cylinders and valves
- Rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and valves
- Responsible for maintenance (except electrical) on air compressors
- Maintain all wells, water pumps, and emission system, Troubleshoot and maintain ACS unit
- Handle all pipefitting as needed
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and hydraulic
- Maintain Robots/gas systems – flame hardening
- Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment in the plant as needed for continuous operation.
Experience:
- Minimum of Two Years of Manufacturing Experience or Similar Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six years minimum of practical experience or Journeyman status
