CES/AWS is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Warren, MI
Pay Rate: $32/hour
Shift: 2nd shift
Location: Warren, Michigan
Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with a passion for troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery? Join our team in Warren, Michigan, and play a key role in maintaining and improving our production operations.
This is a temp-to-hire position, and candidates must have automotive industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment using safe techniques, schematics, and electrical tasks as needed.
- Perform electronic component replacements and ensure all equipment is functional, clean, and safe.
- Prioritize tasks to maximize equipment uptime based on supervisor requests.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, measurement devices, and schematics for accurate machine repair and assembly.
- Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance operational uptime and equipment lifespan.
- Update drawings/prints, suggest spare parts, and execute machine repairs professionally.
- Follow standard practices, work instructions, and governmental regulations for powered equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Journeyman’s card or equivalent work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a Maintenance Technician aptitude test.
- Knowledge of industrial, mechanical, and electrical codes and standards.
- Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic troubleshooting.
- Experience with electrical circuits and systems up to 110 volts.
- Familiarity with complex machinery and plant operating equipment.
- Automotive industry experience is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
