📍 Napoleon, OH | 💵 $34/hr + (.50 shift differential) ⏰ 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Napoleon, OH. This role supports plant preventative maintenance systems and drives continuous improvement across the manufacturing process. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
This is a full-time, 2nd shift opportunity offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and strong potential for permanent conversion with an increased pay rate (up to $35/hr).
What You’ll Do
- Perform machine repairs, set-ups, and changeovers
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Order and maintain spare part inventory
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems as needed
- Work with voltages from 12 VDC up to 480 VAC 3-phase power
- Maintain computerized Preventative Maintenance system
- Support ergonomic improvements and associate training initiatives
- Perform welding, basic fabrication, and other duties as assigned\
- What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years’ experience as a maintenance, electronic, or robotics technician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, robotics)
- Welding and basic fabrication experience preferred
- Mechanical experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching on a daily basis
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must pass drug screen and background check
