AWS/CES is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team for an Automotive Manufacturing client in Blue Springs, MO
- Location: Blue Springs, MO
- Schedule: 2nd or 3rd shift/Temp to Hire
- Compensation: $32-$35 per hour DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and robotic systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve machine efficiency and reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Technical or vocational training in electrical maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens) and experience with robotic systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control circuits.
