CES/AWS HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN MADISON, AL.
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (6% shift premium)
- Schedule: Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Overtime
- Work Setting: In-person
- Ability to Commute/Relocate: Required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a maintenance position preferred.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Conduct field service visits to customer sites to address maintenance requests and resolve issues.
- Perform minor and routine repairs, including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
- Fabricate and install electrical components as needed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations when working with industrial equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their maintenance needs.
- Proficiency in working with high-voltage electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Experience in field service work, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues on-site.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including the ability to analyze electrical systems for faults or malfunctions.
- Experience in Programmable Logic Control (PLC), electrical, and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, MS Access, and Outlook.
Experience:
- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Manufacturing maintenance: 1 year (Required)
