A leading provider of advanced warehousing and sequencing solutions for the automotive industry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team in Kansas City, KS. Key Responsibilities

Support production teams by identifying and eliminating equipment and tooling downtime or scrap using data-driven methods.

Develop and maintain Process Flows, PFMEAs, Standard Operating Procedures, and Line Balancing documentation.

Ensure labor standards are achieved through effective assembly practices and ergonomic design.

Implement and sustain error-proofing and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Optimize cell layouts and update CAD layouts as needed.

Lead or support engineering and maintenance projects using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Prepare cost estimates and documentation for engineering changes.

Address product, process, and system nonconformances with corrective actions.

Maintain accurate documentation of all engineering activities.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or technical certification required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and basic understanding of PLC systems.

Skilled in time studies and labor analysis techniques.

Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and management tools.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities.
Additional Requirements

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking in office and manufacturing settings.

Ability to perform computer-based tasks for extended periods.
-
Up to 20% travel required.

Valid driver’s license required.
