A well-established automotive warehousing and supply chain operation in Findlay, OH, is seeking a detail-oriented Material Coordinator to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong system skills, inventory control experience, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Systems Management

Monitor inventory levels by running and validating required reports each shift

Enter inventory discrepancies into the system and maintain accurate records

Enter receipts as directed and ensure system accuracy

Perform cycle counts as required
Material Flow & Supply Chain Support

Pull inventory as required to support production needs

Administer inbound and outbound expedite activity as needed

Follow visual min/max procedures and report any violations

Assist with plant-wide inventory activities as required
Communication & Documentation

Communicate supply issues to suppliers and escalate risks to appropriate internal teams

Maintain clear, timely documentation of all activities

Handle confidential information with discretion
Safety & Compliance

Adhere to all company guidelines and safety procedures

Promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
1–3 years of experience in materials, inventory, or manufacturing (automotive or JIT preferred)

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail with strong follow-up and time-management skills
-
Ability to manage time-sensitive assignments and maintain confidentiality
Physical & Travel Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout an office and plant environment

Regular computer use required

Valid driver’s license

Up to 5% travel as needed
