AWS/CES is hiring experienced MIG/TIG Welders for our automotive manufacturing client.
Location: Toledo, OH
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Overtime available up to 6:00 AM)
Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay
Position Summary
We are seeking skilled MIG/TIG Welders to join our automotive manufacturing team in Toledo, OH. In this role, you will weld and fabricate metal components while ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on automotive components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
- Ensure all welds meet company quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed work.
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals.
- Perform rework and repairs on defective welds as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- Experience working in a robotic welding environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
