CES is hiring Millwright Apprentices for an Industrial Farm in CK!

Job Duties
 Perform various forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of construction projects from start
to finish (including but not limited to new steel equipment installations, dismantling of existing
equipment, custom fabrication, repairs and preventative maintenance)
 Properly use equipment such as hand and power tools and various machining and fabrication tools
 Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment issues and perform
repairs as needed
 Perform hoisting and rigging tasks in a safe and productive manner
 Assist with preventative maintenance duties as required
 Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and all legislated regulations, including Occupational
Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations and the wearing and use of appropriate Personal
Protective Equipment at all times
 Other duties as assigned by the Construction Manager
Skills & Abilities We Are Looking For
 Experience with the installation and maintenance of material handling equipment and grain storage
systems and custom fabrication (or transferable skills and abilities from work experience in a similar
construction environment)
 Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and manuals
 Must be willing to work at heights
 Enrollment in Millwright trade certification program is an asset – indicate which level(s) have been
successfully obtained
 Valid training certifications are considered an asset and any related previous work experience should
be highlighted: Working at Heights, Fall Arrest, Aerial Lift, Elevated Work Platforms, Hoisting and
Rigging, Confined Space, Lift Truck
 Possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable means of transportation to and from our main
location outside of Chatham (A, AZ or DZ license not required but considered an asset)
 Physically able to perform any and all construction activities including but not limited to sitting or
standing for long periods, lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs, bending, climbing, reaching, twisting and
working outdoors in various weather conditions
 Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and adopt a cooperative team player attitude
 Willing to work overtime when required
